“Being an artist means sharing with the audience the emotions that music brings and that unite them during the concert”
Maria Muraeva

First Steps
Maria began playing piano at the age of 5, then continued her piano and harpsichord training at the Alexandrov Conservatory in Moscow, in the class of Tatiana Gavrilova, a baroque music specialist and organist trained at the Berlin Conservatory.
At the age of 14, Maria took her first steps in singing. After auditions, she was recruited by the famous Russian choir: the Television and Radio Choir of Russia, led by a legend of that era, Victor Popov.
Training of Excellence
With this choir, she participated in concerts produced notably at Tchaikovsky and Rossiya Halls, touring Russia and Europe. She met famous Russian composers such as Pakhmutova, Tchainski, Krylatov.
Maria continued her training at Galina Vishnevskaya's school. Later, she realized her dream and passed the entrance exam to the Gnessine Conservatory in Moscow, receiving teaching from Igor Bankovsky, Vladimir Tcheblikin and Natalya Sidorova.

The International Adventure
In 2005, Maria left to pursue her Master's degree in international economic relations in France, but she did not give up her passion which she pursued with fervor.
Today, Maria lives between Russia, France and Great Britain where she continues her life as an artist, perfecting her technique with an Italian teacher. Her international journey has determined her rich and varied repertoire.
An Eclectic Repertoire
Her eclectic tastes lead her to perform opera arias by Handel, Vivaldi, Verdi, Puccini as well as romances by Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninov and melodies by Fauré, Massenet, Schubert. Thanks to her curiosity and openness to other cultures, she discovered American classics: Gershwin, Cole Porter, Bernstein.
